Mushroom spirit folk

Long ago, when the veil between worlds grew thin, the Hallow Folk slipped through.

They weren’t ghosts, just bits of forest memory that learned how to take shape.

Mushrooms became their hats, clay their skin, and the wind their voice.

They wander the edges of things… shelves, windowsills, garden stones… keeping watch over quiet places.

If you listen close, you might hear them humming
